Alabama Gives Day - Bravo and Thank You!

In a 24 hour period, we received 8 donations, totaling $565. It is because of the passion and dedication you have for improving EDUCATION, FINANCIAL STABILITY, HEALTH and BASIC NEEDS that we are able to have a profound impact on the lives of others. Together we can profoundly change the lives of children and young people, struggling families, frail seniors and those with disabilities in our community – helping them to achieve more than they ever thought possible.

You Can Be The Difference
Help Us Reach Our $710,000 Goal

I am proud to be involved with the United Way of Marshall County.  Not only do we give people the chance to help many organizations with just one gift, but all the money raised here in Marshall County stays right here in Marshall County!

The annual United Way campaign provides funding to 22 programs through local health and human service partner agencies. These programs focus on the building blocks of a good life in the areas of education, income, health and basic needs. They provide: meals to seniors, mentoring and character building for our youth, hospice care to the terminally ill and their families, and basic needs like food, shelter and clothing as well as disaster services.

Each individual served by United Way and its partner agencies experiences an improvement in their life.  And, the added value of United Way is that the entire community is strengthened and improved by the tens of thousands of lives being changed in profoundly positive ways.

United Way donors can feel confident that their gifts are truly helping those who need our help most in our local communities.  United Way’s local Allocation Committee is focused on ensuring that our donors’ funds are efficiently and effectively used to bring about positive change at the community level. Because of you, the United Way of Marshall County and its partner agencies, all of us enjoy a better place to raise our families and conduct our businesses.

So, I urge you to once again join with us by making a generous corporate contribution, and by conducting a model employee campaign.

Sincerely,
Steve Marshall
